SAC ( Self Adjusting Clutch ) clutch mounting set, which is indispensable when replacing the self-adjusting clutch of Audi, BMW, Fiat, Renault, Opel, Mercedes Benz, and Volvo. With this set you can properly reset, center and align the clutch during assembly. This set is suitable for 3 hole as well as 4 hole alignment. 
Important when mounting a self-adjusting clutch is the use of this special tool. When mounting a SAC-clutch (Self Adjusting Clutch) a lot can go wrong. If this tool is not used, it is very likely that unusual voltages in the clutch system will be released by the balance of forces in the clutch. This can negatively affect the functioning of the clutch, resulting in serious malfunctions or even damage to the clutch system. It is very important that the clutch is mounted without tension. Only by using the special SAC tool the mechanic is able to mount this type of clutch deenergised. The voltage ratio between the diaphragm spring, the pressure group housing and the adjustment elements is therefore the most important for a flawless operation of this exceptional coupling. Car manufacturers explicitly prescribe the use of special tools for mounting an SAC coupling. An SAC clutch should never be mounted without its flywheel and clutch disc, otherwise the adjusting ring will rotate.
