Description
Universal knuckle or steering ball joint puller suitable for easy disassembly of steering balls, fits almost all passenger cars.
Removing steering ball joints is often done using gas burner, hammer, pliers etc. This is usually very laborious this way and the rubber cover can be damaged. Another big risk is that you damage the thread with the hammer, especially when you want to reuse the ball.
This steering ball puller is therefore the only correct method to disassemble a steering ball. You use the puller to press the conical pin of the steering ball out of the steering knuckle body or support arm. After this, the conical pin moves freely and you can easily unscrew the ball joint from the steering rod.
The puller is very sturdy so you can use a lot of force with it. Both the joint and the bolt are made of hardened steel.
The jaws of the press are adjustable and reversible so you can always achieve the correct distance.
