Select your compressor:
The minimum air flow of your compressor must be 230 liters/min for the blast cabinet to work correctly.
The compressor and its air flow must be selected depending on the blast nozzle used (ø 4 to 8 mm) and the blast pressure used (2 to 8 bar)
For example: the user blasts with a ø 4mm blast pipe at a blast pressure of 4 bar, the required compressor must deliver 230 liters / min at an output pressure of 10 bar.
The table shows air flow rates for compressors with an output pressure of 10 bar (standard for compressors)
At a blasting pressure of 4 bar, the following blasting operations are possible: air gumming, cleaning of grease and weld residues, removing thin layers of paint, brightening and matting. For heavier blasting work such as removing heavy pollution, grease, rust layers, etc., a higher blasting pressure and flow rate are required.
